Service Engineer

Summary:

• Being responsible for the mechanical start up and commissioning of new installations. (Complete Lines)
• Being responsible for mechanical overhaul of equipment and production lines, including the start up after the overhaul. (Complete lines).
• Fixing mechanical breakdowns and repairs.
• Giving basic instructions to local operators and maintenance staff.

Key responsibilities:

• Work close together with local operators, maintenance, and quality staff from our customers.
• Execution of Service & Commissioning activities including start-up at our customer site.
• Always working according to Safety and Hygienic policy of Meyn and his customers.
• Working close together with Service technicians, Support specialists and the designated site coordinator.
• Being responsible of using and keeping the tools provided proper and save.
• Execution of welding and grinding activities only with a hot permit and under save conditions.
• Lifting and tilting of equipment and constructions only with a permit to do so and under safe conditions.
• Being responsible for working hours and expenses reporting, according to the Meyn policy.
• Willingness to follow additional training sessions to continually improve competence level.

Degree:

• Completed education in Mechanical engineering from a reputed university.
• Understanding of Full Safety (VCA+)
• License for driving a car.

List of experience :

• Minimum 4 years of experience of erection and commissioning of high end machines.

Specific skill set:

• Good command over English ( speaking and writing) & Hindi ( speaking) langauages, however knowledge of any other regional language would be an advantage
• Able to perform Argon welding
• Ability to read technical diagrams or schematics
• Independence and willingness to travel over 4-week periods
• Flexible mentality
• Good Communication skills and showing responsibility
• Result mindedness and ability to constructively communicate and report.
• Readiness to travel upto 4 weeks continously in a desired situation.
