Supply & Inventory Plannner - Senior Analyst

The Supply Inventory Planner is responsible for

Maintaining finished goods stock levels in DCs and raw materials stock levels in plants.

Issuing purchase requisitions for raw materials procurement through MRP

Releasing production plans to plants and dispatch plans to sales teams in Africa.

Mission in Supply Chain Digitalization

Measure and improve supply chain performance indices such as forecast accuracy and supply

accuracy.

Manage supply and inventory level including ramp-up ramp-down according to sales

forecast.

Manage supply risk by setting strategic stock escalate to Procurement or HODs

Review cross-country logistics costs stocking policy for FM/SM consumer goods.

Manage the continuous needs/resources balance (MRP) for raw material and packaging

materials.

Track daily, weekly, MTD, YTD production and identify areas for improvement.

Manage stock of raw materials and packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted supply.

Ensure timely new product launches by reviewing new launch calendar with product

development team.

Coordinate with digital team and build dashboards to improve efficiency in supply chain.

Build a resilient supply chain by providing required visibility to vertically integrated plants.

Hard Skills

Advanced knowledge with ERP systems (SAP)

Advance level in Analytics such as Business Intelligence (Power BI)

Advanced skills in supply inventory management

Advanced level in Excel. Six sigma certification is a plus.

Soft Skills

Results oriented / Pragmatic / Team player with good communication skills.

Experience: from 3 to 5 years in similar roles - few years in Operations in FMCG plants will be

appreciated

Qualification: Bachelor s Engineering Degree. Masters in global supply chain is a plus.
