Job Overview:
Metalman Auto Private Ltd is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in marketing, specifically within the sheet metal automobile industry. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successfully handling Honda (2 wheelers) as a customer and other 2 wheelers. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in expanding Metalman Auto's market presence and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting potential clients and establishing relationships with key decision-makers.
Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure successful execution of plans.
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion within the sheet metal automobile industry.
Customer Relationship Management:
Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients others (2 wheelers) with a focus on the Honda (2 wheelers). Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Negotiation and Contracts:
Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. Draft and review contracts to protect the interests of Metalman Auto Private Ltd.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Sales:
Review RM, Logistics etc. amendments with plant for all new customers.
Regular payments from customers maintain payment FTGE tracker for all new projects and review with Plant.
Increase in market segment
Quality Management System
Ensure compliance to any relevant audits (IATF QMS, New supplier assessment by new customers audits).
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements. Possess in-depth knowledge of Metalman Auto's product offerings to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Engineering / Bachelor in technology/ Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in business development and marketing within the sheet metal automobile industry.
Demonstrated success in managing relationships with 2 wheelers as a customer.
Strong understanding of the automotive market, industry dynamics, and customer needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
