Job Description :
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP on HANA Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and optimizing solutions leveraging SAPs HANA capabilities, including CDS views, ODATA services, BOPF, and RAP (Restful Application Programming Model).
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, enhance, and optimize custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces on SAP HANA.
- Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) views and ensure optimal performance.
- Build and expose ODATA services for SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and integrations.
- Leverage BOPF framework to define and manage business objects efficiently.
- Implement RAP-based applications, ensuring adherence to SAPs best practices.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
- Perform code optimizations for HANA environments using advanced techniques such as AMDP and CDS-based performance tuning.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in SAP systems.
- Document technical specifications, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Stay updated with SAP HANA developments and provide thought leadership on emerging trends.
Required Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP on HANA and traditional ABAP development.
- Expertise in Core Data Services (CDS) , including annotations and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in developing ODATA services for SAP Fiori/UI5.
- Knowledge of BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework) for application modeling.
- Experience with RAP (Restful Application Programming Model) for developing cloud-ready applications.
- Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting tools in SAP HANA and Eclipse/ADT.
- Strong understanding of SAP system landscapes and deployment methods.
- Knowledge of AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and SQL Script is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certification in SAP HANA or relevant SAP modules.
- Experience with SAP Fiori development or enhancement.
- Good understanding of SAPs latest cloud technologies, such as SAP BTP.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies for project development.
