Job Description
Senior ABAP Technical Consultant
Primary Skillsets - SAP ABAP, Adobe Forms, SAP Scripts and Smartforms, SAP ABAP on HANA
Secondary Skillsets - ALE/IDOCS, Workflow, SQL, CDS views and AMDP Desired skills and experience 6-8 years of strong ABAP experience with at least one end-to-end implementation experience, working and integration with modules like MM, SD, WM, FI/CO, PP, QM and Production
Good communication skills with ability to coordinate with functional consultants
Expertise in working with ALV Reports, Function Modules, BAPI, BADi, Enhancements, Exits
Strong experience in modifying SAP Scripts and Smartforms
Strong experience of implementing and migrating to Adobe forms
Experience with analysis tools like Run time analysis, SQL Trace, code inspector and SAP ABAP Test Cockpit to check the quality of the ABAP code
Working knowledge and basic experience on cross applications liks ALE/IDOCS
Strong understanding of SAP ECC applications
Experience of ECC migration to S/4 HANA
Good experience with ABAP Development Tool kit using HANA studio or Eclipse
Exposure with Open and Native SQL performance rules with best practices to optimize the code for SAP HANA
Knowledge of building ABAP Core Data Services objects and AMDP classes
Proficiency in gathering requirements, designing solutions, testing and support
Having SAP Fiori skill sets is advantageous
Proactive in learning and up-skilling in new technologies Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for handling support for all locations, resolution of tickets within SLA and achieving TAT as per predefined target
Responsible for carrying out new developments as per user requirements and ensure proper quality of the ABAP code and technical solutions
Responsible for providing technical expertise with regards to S/4 HANA implementation and migration of technical objects from ECC to S/4 HANA
Responsibility to manage the migration of the ABAP code from ECC to S/4 HANA
Perform detailed analysis of user requirements and design and implement technical solutions
Carry out Unit testing with preparation of all relevant test cases and ensure good achievement of First Time Right
Co-ordination and management of Go-live activities and manage object migration to Production system
