Role: The Head of Product & Technology will lead the product innovation and technology strategy, focusing on developing a robust product and technology roadmap. This role is crucial for driving new innovations, enhancing product features and efficiency, reducing costs, and improving quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the inverters, solar panels, and electrical and electronics fields, with a proven track record of agile product development and competitive intelligence.
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a comprehensive product and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives. - Drive product innovation by identifying new opportunities, features, and enhancements. - Lead the development of new products from concept to launch, ensuring high quality and market relevance. - Implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining or improving product quality. - Conduct competition intelligence to stay ahead of market trends and identify potential areas for improvement. - Gather and analyze the voice of the customer to ensure products meet customer needs and expectations. - Oversee agile product development processes to ensure timely and efficient product delivery. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, marketing, and sales, to drive product success. - Monitor and evaluate product performance, making data-driven decisions to enhance product offerings. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the product and technology teams.
Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in core product development and technology management within the inverters, solar panels or electrical and electronics industries. - Deep understanding of power electronics and allied electrical and electronics field. - Proven experience in leading product innovation and technology strategy. - Understanding and hands on knowledge of Artificial intelligence and software development is preferred. - Strong knowledge of agile product development methodologies. - Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in using project management and product development tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree in Engineering, Technology or a related field. - Experience in a senior leadership role within the inverters, solar panels, or electrical and electronics industries. - Proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving product innovation. - Familiarity with advanced technology and product development tools and methodologies. - Certification in Agile, Scrum, or other relevant product development methodologies.
