Matlab & Simulink Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled MATLAB & Simulink Engineer to design, develop, and optimize simulation models for RF signal processing, Digital Communication and embedded applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, Simulink Coder, Stateflow, and model-based design (MBD) principles. This role involves working with algorithm development, system modeling, testing, and validation across various domains such as aerospace, communications, digital Signal processing, Antennas and wave Propagation, RF applications on RFSoC using Simulink and Xilinx toolchain.

Key Responsibilities:

Model Development & Simulation:

• Design, develop, and simulate models using MATLAB & Simulink for control systems, signal processing, and embedded applications (RF applications on RFSoC using Simulink and Xilinx toolchain.)

Expertise on RF Toolbox, RF Blockset, and Communications Toolbox.

• Implement model-based design (MBD) techniques and generate auto code (C/C++) using Simulink Coder, Embedded Coder.

Algorithm Development & Optimization:

• Develop control algorithms, signal processing, and machine learning models in MATLAB & Simulink.
• Optimize models for real-time implementation and embedded deployment.

Testing & Validation:

• Use tools like Simulink Test, Simulink Coverage, and Simulink Verification & Validation.

Code Generation & Embedded System Integration:

• Generate C/C++ code using Embedded Coder and integrate it with embedded hardware (e.g., TI DSPs, ARM Cortex, FPGA).
• Work with FPGA-based implementations.

Collaboration & Support:

• Work with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, and systems engineers) to integrate models into production systems.
• Provide technical support and training to team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Education: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.

2. MATLAB & Simulink Expertise: Hands-on experience in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, and Simulink Coder.

3. Communications & Signal Processing: Knowledge of DSP, and dynamic system modeling.

4. Tools: Knowledge on Vivado , Vitis HLS.

5. Embedded Systems & Code Generation: Experience with Embedded Coder, real-time systems, and embedded platforms.

6. Testing & Validation: Familiarity with Test automation.

7. Programming Languages: MATLAB, C, C++, Embedded C, Python (optional).

8. Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to work in a collaborative environment and troubleshoot complex issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in 5G communications, RF and Digital signal processing, Antennas.

2. Knowledge of AI/ML integration with MATLAB, SDR , Radar and Electronic Warfare.

3. Hands-on experience with FPGA, SoC, and DSP processors.
