Senior MERN Stack Developer (2-4 yrs)

Technology Vision & Strategy :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).

- Architect and implement robust, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs.

- Oversee the development of responsive, user-friendly interfaces that align with design specifications.

- Manage database schema design, optimize queries, and implement caching strategies for performance.

- Build, mentor, and lead an engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices for automated deployments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UI/UX designers, to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for scalability and cost-efficiency.

Required Qualifications :

Experience : 5+ years as a full-stack MERN developer, including leadership experience managing teams or projects.

Frontend : Expertise in React.js, including state management tools like Redux or Context API. Familiarity with modern UI libraries such as Material-UI or Ant Design.

Backend : Proven experience with Node.js and Express.js for building scalable and secure applications.

Database : Strong knowledge of MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and optimization.

API Development : Demonstrated ability to build and consume RESTful APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).

DevOps : Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools (Docker), and orchestration systems (Kubernetes).

Cloud Platforms : Practical experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Programming Skills : Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including asynchronous programming and performance optimization.

Security Best Practices : Deep understanding of authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT) and encryption techniques.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with GraphQL, serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda), and real-time applications (WebSockets, WebHooks).

- Familiarity with modern frameworks like Next.js or Gatsby.

- Proficiency with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello.
