Job Title: Business Development Executive

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic highly motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive to drive the promotion and sales of our curriculum products to schools, distributors and educational institution. This role is responsible for generating new leads, conducting product presentations, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B sales, strong consultative selling skills, and a passion for education and ensuring smooth sales operations.



Role & responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively engage with school owners, principals, administrators, and trustees to generate new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline for our curriculum solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and sales presentations to school administrators and key decision-makers, showcasing and adding value to our curriculum solutions.
  • Consultative Selling: Assess the unique challenges of each institution and recommend personalized solutions, driving value and addressing customer pain points with our curriculum offerings
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with school administrators, educators, and decision-makers to foster trust and drive repeat business.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Effectively manage negotiations, overcome objections, and close deals in a timely and effective manner.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities, adjusting sales strategies to maximize success.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, update the sales pipeline, and generate accurate sales forecasts, ensuring timely reporting to management.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional post-sales support and customer satisfaction, ensuring long-term relationships with key clients.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Marketing
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the education/ publication sector.
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; consultative selling approach.
  • Highly self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

  • Skills:
    • Consultative selling skills and the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage sales activities and forecast sales.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
