Software Engineer- Robotics

Role & responsibilities

• Understanding research papers/ product patents.
• Developing algorithms studied from research papers Understanding software requirements
• Working on various software modules as a part of the requirements Design system architecture for standalone applications
• Working on various software platforms to develop the desired functionality Design test cases to test the developed functionality Documentation of the development process.
• Communicating requirements from and to the respective team members
• . Working with cross-platform members to complete interdisciplinary work requirements. Taking ownership of the task at hand.

Preferred candidate profile

• BE/BTech in Computer Science/Mechanical/Robotics/Aerospace engineering with 5+ years of experience OR MTech in Computer Science/Mechanical/Robotics/Aerospace with 3+ years of experience
• Working knowledge of object oriented programming Experience in developing algorithms to achieve engineering functionality. For example, 3D geometry, computer vision, related algorithms.
• Working knowledge of C++, Python, C#, Javascript. Working knowledge of Git, UML diagrams Knowledge of VTK, OpenCV, Three.js Knowledge of MATLAB, SIMULINK Experience in medical device industry is a plus. Knowledge of IEC 62304
