Job Description
- As Data Integration Engineer, you will be responsible to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, loading, and transformation, including error logging and root cause analysis.
- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure pipelines meet business needs.
- Document data pipeline processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Set up and configure Fivetran connectors for various data sources (e.g., databases, SaaS applications, cloud services).
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable data transfer.
- Ensure data integration processes comply with organizational data security and compliance policies..
- Who you are:.
- Advanced degree (Masters, PhD, MBA) in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field..
- Over 5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering, governance, and security..
- Proven expertise in data ingestion and integration within data lakes and cloud data warehouses..
- Skilled in extracting data from ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to cloud environments such as AWS or Snowflake..
- Proficient with data movement tools like Fivetran..
- Experience in GxP-regulated environments as well as compliance with data governance reulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)..
- Strong communicator, effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels..
- Passionate about driving improvement and leading change in dynamic settings.
