Job Description for Design & development
Education & Training:
B.E (Mechanical / Production / Automotive)
Relevant Experience Required:
About 1 to 4 years of experience in Automotive Interior Plastics Trim Design. Must have had worked with Global Companies (German OEMs/Tier 1s preferred)
Skill Requirements:
1. Expertise in Automotive Interior Plastic Trim Design
2. Expertise in Drawing and Detailing of the components
3. Expertise in Integration of components, GD&T & Tolerance Stack-up
4. Knowledge of Component materials selection
5. Expertise in Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
6. Know-how about the tooling process (Plastic & Sheet Metal)
7. Know-how about FEA (Finite Element Analysis), Design validation through analysis
8. Know how about pigtail Harness design and mountings strategy will be added advantage
9. Expertise in Unigraphics NX (CAD Tool)
