Health & Safety Executive / Engineer

Familiar with ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management Systems, HIRA, Office Safety systems, ISO 45001 auditor, ISO 45001 intenral audits and trainings.

Responsibilities:

ISO 45001 Management:
Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).
Ensure compliance with all relevant ISO 45001 standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
Manage and update OHSMS documentation, including policies, procedures, and records.
Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA):
Conduct thorough HIRA to identify potential workplace hazards and assess associated risks.
Develop and implement effective risk control measures to minimize or eliminate hazards.
Monitor and review risk assessments regularly to ensure their accuracy and effectiveness.
Office Safety Systems:
Establish and maintain comprehensive office safety systems, including emergency response plans, fire safety protocols, and ergonomic assessments.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of office environments to identify and address potential hazards.
Promote a culture of safety awareness among office staff.
Auditing and Training:
Conduct internal ISO 45001 audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the OHSMS and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive health and safety training programs for employees at all levels.
Act as an internal ISO 45001 auditor.
Provide training for employees on ISO 45001, and other relevant safety training.
Incident Investigation:
Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain accurate records of incidents and investigations.
Maintain records of near miss events.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay up-to-date on changes in health and safety regulations and standards.
Prepare and submit regular reports on health and safety performance to management.
Liaise with regulatory bodies when required.
