Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Associate DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of DevOps principles and a passion for automation, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management. You will collaborate closely with our engineering teams to support CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure the security and reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub for continuous integration and deployment.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, Load Balancers, Auto Scaling, VPC, SQS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Assist with cloud setup and management on Azure, supporting infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot Docker containers and manage container orchestration.
- Implement and maintain best practices for cloud security, identity and access management, and firewall policies.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system stability, manage version control, and streamline deployment processes.
- Provide support for Linux and Ubuntu OS configurations, user access management, and troubleshooting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- AWS Cloud: Hands-on experience with EC2, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, VPC, SQS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Azure: Experience in setting up and managing Azure cloud services.
- CI/CD: Proficiency with Jenkins and GitHub for managing CI/CD workflows.
- Docker: Experience in Docker containerization and troubleshooting.
- Linux/Ubuntu OS: Strong command over Ubuntu OS and Linux environments for server management and system administration.
- Security: High knowledge of security best practices, firewall configurations, and access controls.
- Scripting: Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate workflows and support infrastructure as code.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in AWS or Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools beyond CloudWatch, such as Prometheus or Grafana.
- Experience with other version control systems and tools related to DevOps.
