Meltwater is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to join our new influencer marketing team in our Hyderabad office. We are looking for an individual who is not only technically proficient but also embodies the values of collaboration, open-mindedness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a Cloud Software Engineer, you will be responsible for all operational aspects of our infrastructure and cloud environments
You will work with different databases, design and develop CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, integrate many monitoring & logging tools and help promote a DevOps culture
You will Dockerize services and deploy them in K8S using all the modern best practices such as KEDA, Prometheus, Coralogix, etc. The solutions we build are fully web-based, offered as a service
The technology portfolio ranges from React, Redux, RxJS in the frontend to Node.js, Nest, Python in the backend, powered by MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis and DynamoDB
Our platform is powered by proprietary algorithms that are being developed in house, and have been accepted to leading computer science journals. What You'll Do:
Implement robust cloud infrastructure, logging, and monitoring solutions. Optimize application performance and resource utilization in cloud environments. Working with databases including managing schemas, indices and query optimizations. Hands on backend related tasks including feature design and implementation
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain software solutions that meet business requirements. Lead the development of high-quality code, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and best practices. Identify and resolve technical challenges. What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science or related field. At least 3+ years of experience with backend development
Hands-on capabilities as a backend developer (and not only as a DevOps engineer) is a must. At least 2+ years of experience in DevOps. Advantage years of experience with IaC and GitOps principles and tools such as Terraform. Advantage experience with Docker & Kubernetes. Advantage Experience in operation & managing production deployments. Advantage Experience with monitoring and logging platforms such as Prometheus & Coralogix. Advantage Experience with a PaaS/SaaS cloud, preferably AWS
Advantage Lead automation for CI/CD pipelines for cloud services. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and a demonstrated ability to find creative solutions to technical problems
