Job Description

We are looking for an Engineering Manager/Technical Lead Manager (TLM) we'll-versed with emerging technologies to join our team.

As an Engineering Manager/ TLM, you will ensure consistency and quality by shaping the right strategies. You will keep an eye on all engineering projects and ensure all duties are fulfilled. You will also act as an Architect for this team and will be responsible for design and long-term roadmap. You will analyse other employees tasks and carry on collaborations effectively.

What you will do

Design tasks for other engineers as per Meesho s guidelines
Responsible for system architecture, design review and long term roadmap
Perform regular performance evaluation and share and seek feedback
Keep a closer look on various projects and monitor the progress
Carry on smooth collaborations with the product, design and business teams to innovate on new products
Manage engineers and take ownership of the project while ensuring product scalabilityBuild, lead, develop and coach teams of top technical talent

What you will need

B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech or any other similar qualification with experience as a technology leader for at least 8+ years
1+ year of experience in managing software development teams
Able to drive sprints and OKRs
Deep understanding of technology and architecture in a highly scalable and available setup
Expertise in Java/Python/Go and multithreading
Deep understanding of transactional and NoSQL DBs
Deep understanding of Messaging systems - Kafka

- People centricity is getting lost and a lot of decisions are being taken top down like SDET(QA) role removal, Work From Anywhere policy removal, few backend PODs completely removed etc - Every monty one sale is eating out 1 weekend for everyone - Day start around 10:30 but no time to end :)
