About the Team:

About the role:
As an Assistant Manager - Loss prevention programs, you'll play a crucial role in identifying fraud trends, prioritizing risks, and implementing effective fraud & loss prevention solutions. You'll have complete autonomy in setting up processes necessary to drive these initiatives while collaborating closely with the product, operations, legal, and strategy teams. You'll develop real-time dashboards, design fraud prevention programs, and track key metrics to ensure success.
Your role will also involve creating a strategic roadmap, engaging stakeholders, and continuously improving fraud control measures to stay ahead of emerging threats. The north star goal would be to set a gold standard of trust for Meesho among sellers, customers and our supply chain partners
What you will do:
- Problem Identification & Prioritization: Identify fraud trends using data analysis and prioritize critical issues for action.
- Instrumentation Dashboard: Develop real-time dashboards with alerts to monitor and report fraudulent activities.
- Solution Discovery: Design and implement programs to prevent fraud and enhance security measures.
- Adoption & Metrics: Define, track, and improve key metrics to ensure the effectiveness of fraud prevention strategies.
- Roadmap Creation: Develop a 3-month roadmap addressing key security and loss prevention challenges and align it with strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with teams, update management on progress, and promote security awareness.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on fraud trends and integrate innovative solutions into the security framework.
What you will need:
- B.Tech or MBA degree from premium institutes coupled with over 2+ years of hands-on experience in start-ups, consumer internet companies, management consulting, or operations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong growth track record
- Outstanding written and spoken communication skills and organizational ability
- Experience/knowledge of working in supply chain or fulfillment for teams in any of the e-commerce/ logistics industries preferred
