Account Executive

Accounts Executive Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all GST laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular GST reconciliations and audits.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of GST transactions.
• Provide guidance on GST implications for business activities.
• Stay updated on changes in GST legislation and implement necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during GST audits
• Assist in the development and improvement of GST processes and procedures
• Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization
• Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures
• Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments.
• Assemble invoices to be completed for payment
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices,
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval.
• Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files
• Prepare tax payments, Estimate and track tax returns.
• Partner with the Chief accountant and support in the quarterly and annual tax reports, prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
• Ensure that all store invoices and expenses are compiled, reviewed and paid in time

Accounts Executive Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
• Strong understanding of GST laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and time management skills
• Strong numeracy skills, keen attention to detail
• Good work ethics
