A Day in the Life Medtronic is expanding their footprint for Diabetes Care with a center in Pune and as the Revenue Cycle Management Test Engineer for Digital Technology, India, this role is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the RCM application by executing comprehensive test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with development team to drive continuous improvement within Digital Technology.

As a Revenue Cycle Management Test Engineer within Digital Technology, this role requires completing all steps of the MSCM including interpretation of functional requirements and confirming requirements with functional business analysts, writing test plans, executing, and documenting of system integration testing.

• Utilize applicable tools to facilitate adequate systems testing, monitoring & troubleshooting. Ability to multi-task assignments and exercise judgment regarding escalations to senior team members or vendor

• Maintain a productive relationship with Stakeholders, Process Owners, Technical and Functional Peers through effective communications and collaboration

• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for revenue cycle management applications, ensuring coverage of all functional requirements and edge cases.

• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar defect tracking tools. Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts to increase test coverage and efficiency. Participate in the integration of automated tests in to CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform performance testing to ensure revenue cycle management applications meet response time and throughout requirements under various load conditions.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand requirements and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software.

• Ensure that testing processes adhere to healthcare industry standards and regulations, including HIPAA.

• Contribute to process improvements within the testing team by suggesting tools, techniques, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data, to ensure traceability and reproducibility of test results.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• 3-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on healthcare revenue cycle management. Strong understanding of RCM processes and how they are implemented within a RCM platforms.

• Proficiency in using testing tools such as JIRA, Selenium, or similar.

• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.Knowledge of SQL for data validation and test data setup.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Must have experience in healthcare applications and healthcare industry.

• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.

• Experience in SAP or Salesforce testing is plus.
