We are seeking passionate individuals to join us as Designer Sales Interns. This role uniquely blends design expertise with proactive sales strategies to connect with architects and interior designers, showcasing our exceptional products and fostering valuable partnerships.

Job Description:

As a Designer Sales Intern, you will serve as the bridge between our creative offerings and the professional design community. Your role will involve reaching out to architects and interior designers, presenting our product range, and establishing collaborative relationships to drive business growth. This internship is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about design, possess strong interpersonal skills, and are eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Outreach and Relationship Building:

  • Identify Potential Clients: Research and compile a list of architects, interior designers, and design firms that align with our target market.
  • Initiate Contact: Reach out to potential clients through emails, phone calls, and social media platforms to introduce CustomFurnish and our product offerings.
  • Schedule Meetings: Arrange virtual or in-person meetings to present our products and discuss potential collaborations.

2. Product Presentation and Demonstration:

  • Conduct Demos: Provide detailed demonstrations of our products, highlighting unique features, benefits, and how they integrate into various design projects.

3. Sales Support and Follow-Up:

  • Maintain CRM: Update and manage the customer relationship management (CRM) system with client interactions, feedback, and potential leads.
  • Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up with prospects to answer queries, provide additional information, and move leads through the sales pipeline.

4. Market Research and Feedback:

  • Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends in architecture and interior design to effectively communicate how our products meet current market demands.
  • Gather Feedback: Collect and relay feedback from clients to the product development and design teams to help refine our offerings.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors activities and identify opportunities to differentiate our products and services.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Graphic Design, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Design Proficiency: Strong understanding of design principles and familiarity with design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Sales Acumen: Basic knowledge of sales techniques and a passion for building professional relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the confidence to present and discuss ideas clearly.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to connect with professionals in the design industry and work collaboratively.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and multitasking capabilities to handle various projects and deadlines.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward.
