Job Description:Medline India is looking for a talented Software Development Team Manager with strong experience in managing teams building custom solutions using Microsoft Platform. This will include development, integration, implementation, upgrades, support, and maintenance. Stakeholder management, application availability, system and people performance will be part of the critical responsibilities.The Manager will combine strong technical experience with business acumen to facilitate the most effective development of solutions for Medlines business. The Manager will guide technical teams during support, development, and solution delivery.The Manager will work closely with counterparts in USA to determine staffing needs, assign resources as required, and ensure the successful completion of projects with the highest quality and standards applied for both cloud and non-cloud applications.The Manager will be responsible for enabling the continued career development of the team and ensuring the team is positioned to support new technologies and development approaches as necessary. The Manager will be seen as a practice leader for software development at Medline. Responsibilities: Coach and mentor team members to enable personal and professional growth Provide technical leadership to software development teams Oversee the planning, deployment, development, configuration, testing, and ongoing maintenance Sales related applications Promote a positive culture of engagement, collaboration, professionalism, and accountability Manage all facets of staffing, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, supervision, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions Ensure the team delivers on commitments with quality and efficiency Create an agile, responsive work environment that delivers software while balancing time, cost, and scope Collaborate with other leaders to define solutions, best practices, and architectural patterns Establish and enforce application governance practices, including change management, release management, and documentation Monitor application performance and availability. Take proactive measures to optimize performance and minimize downtime Advocate effectively for the needs of the software development team Promote department-wide initiatives related to system availability and resiliency Stay updated with industry trends in the technology space. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovative ideas and process enhancementsWork Experience: 12 to 15 years of IT work experience including 3 to 4 years experience managing team(s) responsible for application development and support Must have people management experience including performance management and goal settingRequired Skills: Strong technical background on Dot Net and SQL and exposure to Azure Exposure to DevOps processes and tooling Good grasp of SaaS, Web-based application deployment and integration architectures Exposure to data integration between connected systems with strong ETL and Reporting knowledge Ability to provide vision, direction in terms of coding, application architecture, development framework etc. Experience with enterprise application governance aspects like IT security, compliance, disaster recovery policies etc. Strong prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication Creativity and out-of-the-box thinkingPreferred Skills: Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (power apps, power automate, power pages, etc.) or any other Low Code platform Experience with analytical tools like Power BI or TableauEducational Qualification: Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field Or equivalent work experience
