Job Description:
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Manager to oversee the FP&A Europe reporting within our finance department. The Manager FP&A will be responsible for providing and leading financial decision support with business partners and research and recommending options and solutions for improved business results to senior management. The candidate will also execute all Monthly reporting and look for ways to automate and simplify processes. He / She will be responsible for streamlining the FP&A process, providing guidance to the FP&A Europe team, ensuring adherence to relevant costing policies, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of management reporting. He will be required to build analytics for reporting and working with senior stakeholders to drive central initiatives. This role will specifically focus on supporting Medline Europe Corporate reporting and would have exposure to partner with division and commercial teams.
Responsibilities:
· Central Management Reporting for FP&A:
Execute the process for central reporting of FP&A function by ensuring performance is reported accurately and timely. He / She will be required to identify and understand the variance in a reported period and its comparative from Plan/Outlook/Previous Year. He will be required to create, maintain, and develop the new KPIs for management reporting.
Handle/Manage month-end process deliverables as per agreed SLAs along with ensuring delivery of quality & timely results to key stakeholders including analysis, reviews, reports, and other key process metrics.
· Provide Guidance to the Team:
Offer expertise and support to the team regarding management reporting, standard costing, budgeting, forecasting, and system usage of SAP/Oracle, ensuring alignment with applicable policies.
Troubleshoot and Provide Real-Time Guidance through addressing ad-hoc queries and challenges from the onshore team and local team promptly, offering solutions and guidance in real-time to ensure smooth operations.
Simplify Reporting process through analyzing current procedures and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. Ensure smooth collaboration between plant controllers and simplify the current reporting happening at sites and consolidated level.
Documentation Strengthen internal controls/quality checks and improve process, document all process-related reporting.
· Manage Team Goals and Performance: Set clear objectives for the team, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback. Conduct performance reviews and evaluations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
· Plan / Outlook Experience: Leverage expertise in Oracle PBCS to optimize system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and train team members as needed, while ensuring the Outlook and Plan are correctly uploaded and reported to the central team for further analyses.
· Stakeholder management: Develop & maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders to understand requirements, set expectations, address concerns, and discuss them with the reporting manager and Offshore stakeholders as required.
· Collaboration: Partner with onshore and central reporting teams.
· Support Initiatives: Assist with new business initiatives, system integrations, and major change management.
· Forecasting: Prepare quarterly forecasts, annual financial plans, and long-range plans.
· Business Reviews: Conduct and lead financial business reviews with senior management.
· Process Improvement: Drive process improvement and consistency across regions.
Expertise: Provide finance expertise and respond to queries from business partners.
Qualification:
· Cost and Management Accountant/Chartered Accountant or MBA from a two-tier college
· 11+ years (post qualification) in Management Reporting, Budgeting, and Forecasting including at least 4+ years of managing teams of 5+ Team members
· Hands on experience on Oracle PBCS/SAP
. Expertise in Tableau/ Alteryx or Power BI
. Exposure of working at FP&A Lead and above role for 4+ Years
