Supply Chain Executive

ROLE PURPOSE: In a few short sentences, outline the reason the role exists, its objectives and overall accountability.

Person will be playing a key role to support the business by sustaining and implementing efficient & well designed supply chain solutions with strong continuous improvement culture

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Import & Export Management

• Handling Import / Export, Sea & Air Shipments
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on time delivery & regular follow-up on shipping documents
• Coordinate with Shipping Lines, CHA & Forwarder, Transporter
• Assigned imports shipments to CHA & Import Check list approval to CHA timely and filling bill of Entry
• Avail DPD facility ensure container movement DPD to Nominated CFS
• Preparing pre & post shipment documents for Imports & Export Shipment
• Approving AWB/BL to meets Custom and Bank requirements
• Co-ordinate with Tariff Team to ensure Correct HSN Codes are used
• Approving Checklist to ensure Correctness of Bill of Entry
• Working on various Bonds requirements like SVB Bond, Shipping Line Bonds, Warehouse Bonds etc
• Timely Resolution of Customs queries
• Working with Suppliers on Carotar Forms and COO
• Working with CHAs on Over labeling requirement at Bonded warehouse
• Checking and Submission of Invoices to Finance against Services taken
• Coordinate with Finance dept. for Duty Payment, Advance request, Vendor Payments
• EPR Filling and Maintenance Plastic, battery and E-waste

Analysis and Reporting

• Keeping Track of Shipments in Transit and shipments Received at warehouse
• Keeping Track of BOE and Shipping Bills
• Keeping Record of all Import related documents including Test Reports
• Keeping Track and Timely Reconciliation of Textile Passbook
• Keeping records of Invoices Submitted to Finance
• Maintain Test Reports Tracker / follow up with Textile Committee
• Submitting Vendor's invoice provision on a monthly basis
• Maintaining monthly in-transit shipments records
• Reporting Short Receipt/Damages to the suppliers

Other

• Being part of Supply Chain Team, need based support for Warehousing and Distribution Activities
• Working on Processes for improvement
• Working on Supply Chain SOPs creation and modification as per Medline Policy

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage small and medium size projects

2. Contribute to process improvements by bringing innovative ideas

3. Use analytical tools for Forecast Accuracy Measurement and improvements

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Work Experience

• Candidate should have minimum three years of experience. Previous experience of working in Healthcare, Medical devices, Medical consumables, and Pharma is a plus
• Experience in related business functions such as purchasing, supply chain or sales support is a Plus

Educational Qualification

• Graduation in Commerce / Business / Life Sciences
• Post Graduate Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Operations / Business will be a Plus

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Inco terms and International logistics
• Understanding of HSN and FTAs
• Good written and Oral communication
• Accountability to meet deadline
• Good in MS Office and Business Analytical Tools
• Hands-on experience in ERP is a Plus
• Multitasking and ability to work as a Team Member
