Role & responsibilities

General Manager

will oversee the comprehensive operations of a diverse business group comprising retail medical stores, retail generic medicine stores, the distribution of generic medicine franchises, and quick service restaurants (QSR).

The role demands strategic leadership to drive sales growth, ensure customer satisfaction, manage franchise expansions, and optimize QSR operations. Key Result Areas (KRAs):

I. Retail Management: Overseeing and enhancing the performance of retail medical and generic medicine stores, ensuring high standards in customer service, inventory management, and operational efficiency.

2. Franchise Distribution: Expanding and supporting the network of generic medicine franchises, focusing on growth and franchisee satisfaction.

3. QSR Operations: Streamlining QSR operations to improve efficiency, increase revenue, and maintain high health and safety standards. Expanding and supporting the network of QSR franchises, focusing on growth and franchisee satisfaction.

4. Financial Oversight: Managing budgets, controlling costs, and driving profitability across all business units.

5. Team Leadership: Leading, developing, and retaining a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.

6. Business Processes: Setting up of policies and processes.

7. Marketing: Develop & Implement Effective Marketing Strategies for the group businesses.

Desired Candidate Profile

I. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

2. Relevant certification in retail management is a plus.

3. Proficiency in MS Office suite.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

6. Leadership qualities with experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve organizational goals.

7. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

8. Proficiency in English & Hindi.

9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

10. Ability to work well in fast paced and work environment.

11. Ability to multitask.
