Manager-Blast Furnace Mechanical

Role & responsibilities

1. Should have knowledge of blast furnace process & Equipment.

2. Managing shift activities and to ensure smooth operation of Stock house.

3. Overhauling and testing of all stock house systems.

4. Trouble shooting of the all De system, ID fans, Screens, conveyors, Tripper, bunkers, chutes and feeders.

5. Preparation of RCA, CAPA etc. MTTR, MTBF and availability for all the breakdowns.

6. Need to adhere 100% machine preventive maintenance as per plan. (Knowledge of total preventive maintenance system).

7. All documents and records to be maintained.

8. Ensure 100% safety compliance during carrying out maintenance activities.

9. Knowledge of grease and lubrication system and its maintenance is important.

10. Knowledge of TQM & TPM required.

11. Planning and execution of preventive, time based maintenance, condition monitoring and shutdown jobs.

12. In house refurbishment of spares and improvement projects.

13. Execution of preventive, planned, breakdown and shutdown jobs.

14. Monitoring of the root cause of problem arising during routine maintenance work.

15. Creating and closing SAP notifications.

16. Shall maintain housekeeping and 55 at all areas.
