MCX - Deputy Chief Financial Officer (15-20 yrs)

The candidate should ideally possess at least 15 - 20 years of relevant experience of which at least 5 years should be at senior level in MIIs (Exchanges, Clearing Corporations, Depositories), large Financial Services (Broking, Banks etc), preferably having the experience of handling the role of presenting & reporting to Audit Committee and Board.

The Dy CFO role is to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in managing the overall financial operations of the organization. He will be the number 2 in the F & A Team and be responsible for strengthening the risk mitigation, internal audit function, regulatory compliances and automation of financial controls and governance within the system.

The duties of Dy CFO will include managing accounting financial records, evaluating and managing risk, ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations and other regulations, publishing financial statements, coordinating with the Internal & Statutory Auditors, analyzing financial data, preparing & monitoring the company's budget monitoring expenditure, optimizing the Company's Investments and improve the automation of financial controls and governance within the system .

The role incumbent will drive Financial Reporting and Internal Controls by:

- Preparing and analysing financial reports , preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances with major focus on cost and adherence to budgetary guidelines

- Managing accounting operations and accounting for income and expenditure

- Developing financial policies and processes for the healthy functioning of the organization and risk mitigation

- Coordinating with other departments and managing the auditing process

- Establishing stringent processes and ensure Internal Control practices that are completely compliant to SEBI regulations and guidelines, and the Companies Act;

- Implementation of new requirements in Accounting and Taxation Standards and the Internal Financial Control Framework as required;

- Ensuring complete compliance as well to all SEBI listing requirements and publishing accurate and timely reports

- Harness digital technology and facilitate automation in a way that maximizes efficiencies across by automation of financial controls

Additionally, the Dy CFO will support the CFO in other functions like Treasury Management, reporting to internal committees and Board etc, overseeing routine day-day operations in Finance and Accounts function and other responsibilities as required by the Company..

Not above 50 years. However, couple of year's relaxation would be acceptable in case of well deserving candidates.

The candidate will be also accountable to the Audit Committee and the Board.
