Role & responsibilities

Development of cost effective new product packaging as per specifications of marketing and R&D department through innovative processes or innovative packaging material.

Identifying vendor procurement, quality control, time line management .

Check methods / process adopted for getting defect free packaging materials for new launches.

Provide input in deciding packaging materials for new briefs.

Innovation/renovation of existing products as per plan .

Create PM specifications for each SKU that will be used for manufacturing.

Provide SOP and CQA to third party manufacturers with detail of test product.

Drive key packaging supplier relationships on innovation, troubleshooting, and cost opportunities.

Conduct periodical reviews of packaging materials & processes to reduce packaging material costs & wastages.

Plan for periodical audits at factories, vendors, depots & distributors to ensure proper quality checks.

Monitor compliance of protocols.
