Job Purpose.

Managing the accounting including project accounting, consolidation of accounts for various assets, audit and compliance function, taxation, managing banking relationships.

Responsible for the management reporting function of the Group within the context of the hospitality industry.

Driving and implementation of sound accounting policies as per the statutory requirements, ensuring the various audits are completed on time and without any non-compliances..

Key Accountabilities.

Strategic Policy and Procedures:.

Developing and implementing accounting manuals which adhere to the required accounting standards and norms..

Developing the various accounting processes including the risk control matrix and ensuring its implementation..

Corporate Accounts And Consolidation.

Ensure books of Accounts of Corporate are closed with accuracy..

Ensuring consolidation of all Group books of accounts by following consistent policies across all assets..

Project Accounting.

-Ensuring that the new projects related accounting including capitalization of new assets is done in compliance with the laws and as per the Company policy -.

and also works in close coordination with the Project Management teams..

Audit And Compliance.

Driving all the audits including statutory, tax and internal audits are completed on time..

Ensuring all corrective actions are taken for audit observations..

Taxation.

Optimizing the effective tax rate of the Company.

Ensuring minimum tax litigation..

Management Reporting.

Developing and implementing an effective management reporting framework which helps in monitoring the business performance and strategic decision making..

Banking.

Developing and maintaining healthy relationships with the banking partners to help meet the funding / other banking needs.

Providing timely financial / business information to the banks in a transparent manner as part of the reporting requirements..

Team Development.

Working with HR to build an effective framework for the career progression, development of the team and help develop the next line of finance leaders..

Educational Qualifications.

Chartered Accountant.

Relevant And Total Years Of Experience.

10-15 years of total experience in accounting including consolidation of accounts, project accounting, audit and compliance, banking and management.

reporting function in premier hotels and resorts having multiple assets..

5 to 6 years in leading the core accounting function for a reputed Hotel Group having multiple assets..
