As an Information Security Engineer Trainee , you will play a crucial role in assisting our team with the implementation and management of security measures to protect our organizations computer systems, networks, and data. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to various aspects of information security, providing a strong foundation for your career in cybersecurity.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing security measures to protect the organizations computer systems, networks, and data.

Support security audits and risk assessments by gathering and analyzing data.

Conduct network, server, and application scanning and vulnerability analysis under supervision.

Monitor SIEM or equivalent tools, and report incidents and events.

Assist in configuring and troubleshooting security infrastructure devices.

Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.

Participate in incident response activities and post-incident analyses.

Learn and apply security best practices and industry standards.

Research and recommend new security technologies.

Collaborate with users to discuss computer data access needs, identify security threats and violations, and recommend necessary programming or process changes.

Assist in implementing DevSecOps and reviewing application security.

Safeguard system security and improve server and network efficiency by training users and promoting security awareness.

Monitor virus reports and facilitate updates to virus protection systems.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Requirements:

Education: B.Tech, B.E (IT), or a Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Basic understanding of network protocols, databases, and operating systems .

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills .

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security practices.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
