Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce DevOps Engineer with Azure expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Salesforce DevOps processes, tools, and environments, coupled with hands-on experience in Azure cloud services. The role involves implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing deployments, and ensuring the seamless integration of Salesforce and Azure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce DevOps Management:

• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and Copado for Salesforce environments.
• Oversee user story management, deployment processes, and back promotions across multiple Salesforce orgs.
• Resolve merge conflicts and deployment issues in collaboration with development teams.
• Ensure seamless repository management using Git and Bitbucket.

Azure Cloud Services:

• Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
• Configure and maintain Azure services like Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Storage.
• Monitor and optimize application performance using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Integrate Salesforce solutions with Azure services for hybrid cloud architectures.

Collaboration and Problem-Solving:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve complex deployment challenges.
• Work closely with stakeholders to implement robust DevOps strategies and align them with organizational goals.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices in Salesforce and Azure environments, including RBAC and Azure Key Vault configurations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and governance frameworks.

Process Automation:

• Automate routine DevOps tasks using tools like PowerShell, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Streamline deployment and operational processes to enhance efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Salesforce Expertise:
  
• Proficiency in Salesforce DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, or Flosum.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce administration, metadata management, and deployment processes.

• Azure Cloud Expertise:
  
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Terraform, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience in integrating Salesforce with Azure services.

• DevOps Tools:
  
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitHub) and scripting for automation (Python, Shell, PowerShell).

• Additional Skills:
  
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced DevOps environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
