Salesforce DevOps Engineer (2-4 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our team on a contract basis (6-12 months).

In this role, you will play a critical part in streamlining our Salesforce development and deployment processes.

You will collaborate closely with developers, administrators, and other stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain a robust and efficient DevOps environment.

Key Responsibilities :

DevOps Process Design and Implementation :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective DevOps strategies and best practices for Salesforce.

- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Salesforce DX.

Deployment Automation :

- Automate routine tasks, such as code deployments, data migrations, and environment refreshes, using scripting languages and automation tools.

- Manage and maintain Salesforce sandboxes and other environments.

Environment Monitoring and Maintenance :

- Monitor the health, performance, and security of Salesforce environments.

- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to Salesforce deployments and integrations.

Troubleshooting and Support :

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Salesforce deployments and integrations.

- Provide technical support and guidance to developers and other team members.

Continuous Improvement :

- Continuously evaluate and improve DevOps processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a Salesforce DevOps role or a similar position.

- Strong proficiency with AWS (Amazon Web Services).

- Expertise in Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.

- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, components, and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Salesforce certifications (e.g, Salesforce Certified DevOps Engineer, Salesforce Certified Administrator).

- Experience with other DevOps tools and platforms (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes)
