Job Summary:
A leading AV Systems Integration Company in India is looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to drive sales strategy, business growth, and market share across India. The ideal candidate will have 10-25 years of sales experience within the AV systems integration, audiovisual technologies, or related sectors. The role involves overseeing a nationwide sales team, developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong relationships with key clients, and delivering top-line revenue growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Business Development:
- Develop and execute national sales strategies to meet company revenue goals and market share targets.
- Identify growth opportunities within key verticals (e.g., corporate, government, education, hospitality, retail) and create go-to-market plans.
- Lead market expansion by identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to position the company's solutions effectively.
2. Sales Leadership & Team Management:
- Oversee and manage the performance of the national sales team, ensuring sales targets and KPIs are met across all regions.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and motivation to sales teams, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and resources to succeed.
- Recruit, train, and retain high-performing sales talent.
- Establish and implement sales processes and standards to ensure efficient operations across all regions.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction with the company's AV integration solutions and services.
- Collaborate with the technical and project management teams to deliver tailored AV solutions to meet client needs.
- Handle high-value client negotiations, tenders, and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Act as a key point of contact for escalated client issues and ensure prompt resolution.
4. Market Expansion & Key Account Management:
- Expand the company's footprint by developing relationships with new enterprise and government clients.
- Manage key accounts and high-value clients, ensuring consistent revenue generation from major projects.
- Establish partnerships with global AV equipment manufacturers and technology providers to strengthen the company's solution offerings.
5. P&L Responsibility & Reporting:
- Full responsibility for the national sales budget, ensuring cost control and profitability targets are met.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics, such as revenue, gross margins, and market share growth.
- Present sales reports and forecasts to the senior leadership team, providing insights on performance and areas for improvement.
6. Marketing & Product Strategy Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns that align with sales objectives and target customer segments.
- Provide feedback on product offerings, customer preferences, and market needs to inform product development and marketing strategies.
7. Regional & National Sales Operations:
- Ensure the smooth operation of sales activities across all regions, including planning and coordinating national campaigns and promotions.
- Oversee pricing, contracts, and project bids to ensure competitive positioning in the market.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of AV systems and equipment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- MBA or other advanced degrees will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
Experience:
- 10-25 years of relevant sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership role (National Sales Manager, Sales Director, etc.) within AV systems integration, audiovisual technology, or related industries.
- Proven track record of managing large sales teams and delivering on ambitious revenue targets.
- Strong experience with AV integration solutions (audio, video, lighting, control systems, etc.) and familiarity with key technologies and brands.
- Hands-on experience in selling complex technical solutions and working with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale projects.
