Roles and Responsibility:

Design and develop pipelines, notebooks (using PySpark and SQL), Delta Lake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Governance with Medallion Architecture.
Handling Data extraction using API, Streaming, Batch files, File formats like Json, Parque, CSV, Delta.

Requirements:

Core Data Engineering Skills

Microsoft Fabric (or Databricks / Data Factory)

At least two or three years of hands-on Fabric or Databricks experience is must (excluding R&D)
Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric for data orchestration, data management, and cloud integration.
Strong understanding of Lakehouse for working with large-scale datasets, incremental processing, SCD Logic, working with delta live tables, Autoloader in notebooks.
Experience in designing Mapping Data Flows in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data transformation.
Dimensional Modelling: Proficient in designing star schema, snowflake schema, and fact tables for efficient reporting and analytics.
Familiarity with Indexing, Partitioning, and Performance Tuning for optimizing data warehouse and Lakehouse performance.
Familiarity with Agile Methodology: Understanding of Agile practices and the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile teams.
Data Migration Experience will be added to weightage

Soft Skills:

Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently.
Ability to work effectively in teams, especially in Agile environments where collaboration is key.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
Verbal and written communication skills to document processes, communicate with stakeholders, and convey technical concepts clearly.
