Automation Tester - Calypso (Immediate Joiner)

Job Description - QA (Calypso Technology's):

• Guarantee the quality and reliability of software by thoroughly understanding the test cases provided by the functional QA team.
• Comprehend the various configurations required for test execution.
• Execute test cases and validate changes on the staging database.
• Replicate configurations on UAT/Production databases for automating test cases.
• Conduct test preparation, coordination, and creation of mandatory test artifacts across various Calypso modules..
• Design superior test cases and enhance existing ones to create robust regression test suites for testing phases.
• Analyze automated test results, troubleshoot failures, and raise bug reports in Jira.
• Maintain existing automated test suites and incorporate new changes.
• Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test solutions for Calypso-based applications.
• Stay updated on the latest Calypso updates and industry trends to enhance QA processes.

• Experience:
• 5-10 years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on financial technology and Calypso solutions.

• Domain Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives, fixed income, and FX.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in the financial industry.

• Technical Skills:
• Experience in the Capital Markets domain with knowledge of asset classes such as Equity, Fixed Income/Bonds, Commodities, FX, etc.
• Hands-on experience in testing Calypso modules such as Trading, Risk, Treasury, or Post-Trade Processing.
• Understanding of post-trade processing functions such as clearing, collateral management, settlements, and messaging.
• Prior experience in Automation QA/Testing teams.
• Experience with Calypso Technology's products or similar financial technology platforms is a plus.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Automation Testing Life Cycle.
• Expertise in test data setup and troubleshooting changes related to it.
• Familiarity with Java, SQL scripts, Linux/Unix, and Jenkins is advantageous.
