Job Description As a Graphic Designer at Match Graphics, you will be responsible for
supporting the design team in creating compelling visual content for a
variety of platforms. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or entry-
level designer eager to apply their skills and learn from industry
professionals.
Proficiency Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign),
and familiarity with other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma) is a plus.
Experience 1-2 years
Job Profile Conceptualization. Graphic designers develop visual concepts based
on client briefs or project requirements. They brainstorm ideas and
create sketches or mock-ups to present to clients or stakeholders.
Design Creation. They use computer software, such as Adobe
Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Corel draw), to create
designs for various mediums, including print, digital, and multimedia.
This can include logos, brochures, social media graphics, and more.
Typography. Graphic designers work with typography to effectively
communicate messages. They choose appropriate fonts, font sizes, and
arrangements to enhance readability and visual appeal.
Image Editing. They manipulate and enhance images to fit the design's
requirements. This involves tasks such as cropping, resizing, color
correction, and retouching.
Layout Design. Graphic designers arrange visual elements on a page
or screen to create aesthetically pleasing and effective layouts. This
includes considering factors such as balance, hierarchy, and
whitespace.
Brand Identity They develop and maintain brand identities through
consistent application of design elements, such as logos, colors, and
typography, across various marketing materials and platforms.
Client Collaboration. Graphic designers work closely with clients or
project managers to understand their needs and objectives. They
incorporate feedback and revisions into their designs to ensure client
satisfaction.
Deadline Management. They must manage their time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
Time Management. The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines is crucial in this role.

Education Bachelors degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a
related field. Experience with web design or UX/UI design is a plus.
Knowledge of motion graphics or video editing tools is an advantage.
Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign),
and familiarity with other design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma) is a plus.
Portfolio A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, even if it includes
personal projects or academic work.
Creativity A keen eye for design, detail, and a passion for visual storytelling.
Communication Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively
with team members and clients.
Organisation Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment.
