Sales and Business Development Head - Solar

Job Profile: Experienced business professional with expertise in Sales and Business Development on executive level as well as Strategy Management by developing and implementing new innovative business models, including the integration of a multi-channel approach and invention of innovative solutions on a national scale

• Strategizing Business Development for the organization to drive organic growth across the country
• Self-motivated, Driven and the ability to lead, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Onboarding new customers and ensuring sustainable growth of business
• Expertise, Experience and Excellent Network in the B2b Solar EPC industry
• Legal, Commercial and Technical due diligence of potential customers and interacting with them to collect technical data, customer requirements
• Market Intelligence Constantly evaluate the ecosystem for Onsite and grid connected Solar projects from a regulatory, technical-commercial angle
• Network and develop good working relationship with regulators, utilities, Govt., state energy authorities, Renewable Energy Associations etc
• At least 5 years of experience in Business Development or Sales in the Energy sector
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities in the field of Solar and Green Hydrogen
• Thorough understanding of financial models and contracts in the energy sector
• Reaching out to new customer via Network, cold calls, Linked In to Introduce offered services and generate RFQs
• Understanding technical requirement of customers and proposing solutions accordingly
• Making large calculations for desired profitability of projects and preparing proposals
• Follow-up and Negotiations with customers for successful closure of business deals
• Surpass Annual Revenue targets by maintaining the profitability
• Signing of Legal Compliance related documents, Purchase orders, Sales Offers, Agreements with customers
• Recruitment of new employees at any level below
• Payment follow-up with customers and making sure deadline are met as per schedule
• Making decisions on accepting, rejecting customer business, Halt projects
• Device new Marketing Strategies to extend customer reach and brand positioning
