AI Development Tools Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an AI Development Tools Specialist with deep expertise in full-stack development, a strong command of Azure cloud technologies, and a passion for integrating AI tools into modern software development practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Devin, Tabnine, and other emerging AI-driven developer tools to optimize workflows, reduce technical debt, and improve developer productivity.

This role is for a seasoned professional who understands both the technical and cultural aspects of adopting AI tools in a development environment. You will play a key role in guiding our engineering teams, evaluating emerging AI technologies, driving their adoption, and ensuring developers maximize these tools in day-to-day workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. AI Tools Adoption and Optimization:

• • Continuously evaluate, test, and recommend AI tools for full-stack development environments, specifically for SQL, C#, .NET, MVC, and API development.
• • Develop best practices and coding standards for using AI tools effectively across the team.
• • Work closely with Azure DevOps pipelines to integrate AI tools seamlessly into CI/CD processes.

2. Full Stack Development Expertise:

• • Serve as a technical advisor to the team on full-stack development, ensuring AI tools enhance performance at both front-end and back-end levels.
• • Provide deep technical knowledge in Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure-related technologies.
• • Collaborate with engineering leads to architect scalable and efficient cloud solutions leveraging AI-driven efficiencies.

3. Training and Enablement:

• • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and live demonstrations to onboard developers on AI tools and promote best practices.
• • Create comprehensive documentation, knowledge-sharing resources, and video tutorials for ongoing learning.
• • Act as an internal evangelist for AI adoption within the engineering organization.

4. Workflow Optimization and Automation:

• • Analyze current development workflows and identify opportunities for AI integration to improve productivity and reduce errors.
• • Automate repetitive coding, testing, and deployment tasks using AI tools.
• • Drive initiatives to integrate AI tools with project management and version control systems.

5. Research and Innovation:

• • Stay ahead of AI and ML trends in software development, evaluating their relevance to the organization.
• • Regularly test new AI-powered coding tools and frameworks, providing feedback on their applicability to our tech stack.
• • Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and developer communities to remain a thought leader in AI development tools.

6. Adoption Metrics and Reporting:

• • Define and track KPIs for AI tool adoption and productivity improvements.
• • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders on the ROI of AI tools.
• • Share regular performance reports on adoption, effectiveness, and developer satisfaction.

Key Qualifications:

• • 10+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with hands-on expertise in SQL, C#, .NET, MVC, and APIs.
• • 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud technologies, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, and Azure SQL Database.
• • Proven track record of implementing AI tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Devin, or other AI coding assistants in a development environment.
• • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment strategies.
• • Excellent coding practices with an emphasis on clean code, scalability, and maintainability.
• • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks.
• • Experience in conducting trainings, workshops, and technical presentations for large developer teams.
• • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• • Experience in leading or mentoring cross-functional developer teams.
• • Previous experience as an AI Developer Advocate or Technical Evangelist.
• • Certifications in Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate, or similar credentials.
• • Experience with AI and ML models beyond development tools, including integrations for advanced analytics.
• • Active participation in developer forums, open-source contributions, or technical blogging.
