Job Description

Required Skills:

Good working knowledge in writing complex SQL queries

Good knowledge of ETL tools Talend/Ab Initio preferred

Good knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes environment

Excellent analytical / problem solving skills.

Strong software development and debug/troubleshooting skills

Advanced ability to research, analyze and recommend improvements to the organization s use of the software applications

Advanced skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation

Nice to Have Skills:

Prior Production Support experience

Good knowledge of database programing and data modeling is plus

Working knowledge of Gitlabs, Jira, AWS console (cloudwatch) and incident management systems like ServiceNow and/or PagerDuty

Experience working in a regulated industry, knowledge of finance or insurance a plus

Interpersonal Skills:

Effective in building relationships with all functional units of the organization

Working ability to effectively recognize and manage interpersonal communication needs

Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple locations when necessary

Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

Able to work independently or as part of a team

Works under pressure and is able to manage competing priorities

Meets or exceeds expectations on process turnaround for assigned tasks and follow ups, and issue resolution to closure

Effective communication skills; verbal, non-verbal and written; and ability to communication on all levels of the organization
