Job Description

The IAM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions within the organization. This role focuses on integrating and customizing IAM platforms such as SailPoint IdentityIQ, ensuring seamless user lifecycle management, role-based access control (RBAC), and access recertification processes. The IAM Developer collaborates with cross-functional teams to secure applications, automate provisioning/deprovisioning, and enforce compliance standards. Additionally, they troubleshoot and resolve issues, optimize system performance, and drive continuous improvement of IAM solutions to safeguard enterprise assets.

Strong understanding of IAM principles (RBAC, least privilege, access provisioning, recertification).
Expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ, with experience in implementation and customization.
Familiarity with other IAM tools like Okta, Ping Identity, or Microsoft Identity Manager.
Knowledge of regulatory and security standards related to IAM
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bean shell, PowerShell, Python, Java) for automation.
Experience with API-based integrations and system connectors for enterprise applications.
Strong development skills in customizing IAM workflows and processes.
Problem-solving abilities for diagnosing IAM issues and optimizing system performance.
Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
Ability to automate user lifecycle management and access review processes.
6+ years of hands-on experience in SailPoint Identity IQ, IAM development and support.
Experience working with both cloud-based (e.g., Azure) and on-premise IAM systems.
Proven track record in maintaining IAM solutions in compliance with security regulations.
Experience integrating IAM systems with HR, ERP, CRM, and other enterprise apps through different integration approaches like API, Microservice, Hybrid connector, OOTB, CDP etc
Incident management experience, including resolution of IAM-related security incidents.

IAM Solution Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable IAM solutions, focusing on integration with key systems like SailPoint IdentityIQ.

User Lifecycle Management: Ensure efficient automation and management of user onboarding, offboarding, and role transitions.

Access Control Enforcement: Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and manage access certifications to ensure compliance and least privilege access.

System Integration & Customization: Integrate IAM solutions with internal and external applications using APIs and custom connectors.

Incident Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues and incidents promptly, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.

Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of IAM systems to ensure reliability and scalability.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into IAM solutions.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate and improve existing IAM processes and workflows to increase efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.

My Manager who does not have any work Ethics, He is person with whom no employee wants to work may it be an experienced resource or an fresher. Many Resources who worked under him has abruptly, resigned the job because of his Harassment, may it be Men or Women, doesn't know how to speak with his Peers and his Resources reporting him.
