Job Description
- NVH level target setting for powertrain.
- NVH evaluation of powertrain and the achievement of defined unit level targets.
- Execution of advance powertrain projects including Flex fuels / Biofuels / HEVs etc
- Knowledge of Modal Analysis, Transfer Path Analysis to solve complex NVH issues.
- Summarization of findings along with objective evaluation of counter-measure effectiveness.
- Tracking the trend of future powertrain technology and their NVH impact.
- Interact regularly with Market Quality, New development quality and Engineering Design Departments.
Competencies
- Relevant work experience in Powertrain NVH (ICE/Hybrid/EV/ Alternate fuels ICE )
- Know-how of NVH characteristics of engine and its subsystems.
- Understanding of new model/unit design & development.
- Experience of unit testing on engine dynamometers and anechoic chamber operation.
- Skills in using software like IMC FAMOS, CONCERTO, INCA and other NVH tools like Siemens Test lab.
- Hand-on experience in operating the Engine dynamometer and anechoic chamber facilities
Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Production/ Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 60% marks 4-10 years of experience
