About the position:
Maropost is currently looking for Backend Functional Language developer with experience in Golang to join our development team in our India office.
What youll be responsible for:
- Translating software requirements into stable, working, high-performance software
- Playing a key role in architectural and design decisions, building toward an efficient micro services distributed architecture
- Writing scalable, robust, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the deployment team to streamline code deployment.
- Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams to ensure a marked improvement in applications and the timely completion of projects
What youll bring to Maropost:
Must Have
- Should possess a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
- Should have 3+ years of experience
- Should have experience in developing Golang web applications.
- Should exhibit expertise in software development methodologies.
- Should possess a problem-solving attitude.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with the full site of Go frameworks and tools, including:
- dependency management tools such as Godep, SLTr, etc.
- Go s templating language
- Go s code generation tools, such as Stringer
- Popular Go web frameworks, such as Revel
- Router packages, such as Gorilla Mux
- Should have a working knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language) and NoSQL (Non-Structured Query Language).
- Strong knowledge of Go programming language, paradigms, constructs, and idioms
- Knowledge of common Goroutine and channel patterns
- Experience working in Agile teams using SCRUM or other Agile methodology
Good to have
- Ruby on Rails knowledge .
- Ability to write clean and effective Godoc comments
- Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
- Good in Data Structures and algorithms
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Knack for writing clean, readable code
- Ability to drive high standards of product quality
