Roles and Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a QA team of 10+ engineers, fostering professional growth and a collaborative environment.
- Manage daily QA activities, ensuring efficient and thorough testing processes.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and design specifications.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with system requirements.
- Oversee the execution of manual and automated tests, identifying and resolving defects to ensure software quality.
- Manage defect documentation and tracking using tools like JIRA or Monday, ensuring timely resolution.
- Drive process improvements to enhance QA efficiency, including automation strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Skills and Qualifications Required :
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum 4 years in software and website quality assurance and testing, with at least 2 years leading a team of 10+ members.
Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with security testing principles and tools.
- Tools : Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Monday.
- Soft Skills : Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
- Team Performance : Achieve test coverage, defect detection rates, and defect resolution time goals.
- Test Coverage : Maintain high test coverage, ensuring all critical application areas are tested.
- Stakeholder Feedback : Minimize escalations related to testing issues.
- Process Improvement Initiatives : Increase the percentage of automated testing versus manual testing
