Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist with 5+ years of experience to join one of our client's teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical machine learning, classic machine learning models, and data modeling, and other relevant areas. As a Data Scientist Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing advanced data science solutions to solve complex business problems and drive innovation within our organization.

What you will do :

- Design, develop, and implement robust machine learning models with a focus on statistical methods and classic ML algorithms (i.e., regression, decision trees, clustering, etc.)

- Develop and deploy scalable and robust machine learning pipelines and solutions using MLOps best practices.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and define requirements for data science projects.

- Explore and experiment with new technologies, tools, and techniques to continuously improve and enhance our data science capabilities.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the data science team, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.

- Stay current with the latest developments in the field of data science and machine learning, and apply cutting-edge research to solve real-world problems.

- Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.

What are we looking for :

- 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on statistical ML and classic ML techniques.

- Proficiency in data modeling and model evaluation methodologies.

- Experience with machine learning algorithms such as linear and logistic regression, decision trees, k-means clustering, random forests, SVMs, etc.

- Hands-on experience with Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn) or other data science programming languages.

- Familiarity with Generative AI models and Large Language Models (LLMs) (i.e., GPT, BERT) is a plus.

- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, and PyTorch is a plus.

- Strong understanding of data preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, and data visualization tools.

- Proven ability to work with large datasets and design efficient pipelines.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

- Strong background in mathematics and statistics, including probability, hypothesis testing, and optimization.
