Job Description
Are you an experienced email marketing professional with a passion for crafting high-performing campaigns and flows? Do you thrive in the fast-paced world of e-commerce and beauty? We're looking for a dedicated Email Marketing Specialist to take ownership of key accounts, optimizing email and SMS marketing strategies across multiple markets (Australia/NZ, USA, UK, and global retail).
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of email and SMS marketing, from strategy and setup to execution and reporting. Your work will directly impact engagement, conversions, and customer retention, ensuring the success of these beauty brands in their respective markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management
- Oversee and optimize three Klaviyo accounts
- Conduct audits to improve email/SMS deliverability, segmentation, and flow performance.
- Ensure compliance with regional marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
2. Flow Creation and Optimization
- Plan, create, and implement essential email flows:
- Welcome flows
- Abandoned cart and checkout flows
- Winback, replenishment, and post-purchase flows
- Back-in-stock, cross-sell, and milestone flows
- Continuously test and refine flows to improve performance.
3. Campaign Management
- Develop a structured weekly campaign calendar for each brand.
- Create engaging, brand-aligned content for product launches, promotions, and educational campaigns.
- Leverage customer segmentation to deliver personalized and targeted campaigns.
4. Segmentation and Personalization
- Set up and maintain dynamic segments based on behavior, purchase history, and engagement.
- Use zero-party data from quizzes to tailor content for customer preferences.
5. Integration Management
- Enhance email content with integrations like:
- Smile.io for loyalty rewards
- Judge.me for product reviews
- Tolstoy for video content
- Coordinate with Shopify Markets to ensure email currency and product updates align with regional markets.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor email and SMS campaign performance using Klaviyo analytics.
- Track key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.
- Provide monthly reports with actionable insights for optimization.
7. Customer Feedback Implementation
- Implement surveys in post-purchase and winback flows to gather customer insights.
- Use data from unsubscribes and churned customers to improve retention strategies.
Key Requirements
- Experience:
- 3+ years in email marketing, with expertise in Klaviyo and SMS marketing platforms.
- Proven experience managing e-commerce email accounts, ideally in beauty or lifestyle brands.
- Skills:
- Strong copywriting and email design skills.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and make data-backed decisions.
- Experience with Shopify, Shopify Markets, and integrations like Smile.io, Tolstoy, and Judge.me.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced knowledge of email flows, segmentation, A/B testing, and deliverability best practices.
- Familiarity with regional compliance requirements (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
- Personal Attributes:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Creative problem-solver with a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
