Media Manager

Qualification & Experience

• MBA with 7-15 years of experience in a Media Agency or similar organization.

Key Deliverables of the Role

• Leading & Managing mass media for a part of the Marico portfolio in India
• Work with brand teams to evolve media strategy basis brand tasks
• To provide leadership and guidance to the brand teams on leveraging opportunities in the digital/mobile arena synergistic to the brands business tasks. Energize the company and lead strategy on the digital front.
• Lead the successful implementation and execution of all media plans across brands
• Provide critical inputs for enhancing effectiveness of Marico's media plans.
• Develop & maintain benchmark media process & improve upon the same
• Utilize available media vehicles effectively & create new opportunities whenever required
• The incumbent is expected to be the driving force by challenging traditional media options and energize the company to embrace New Media channels.

Managing Agency Relationships:

• Work closely with media agency & co-ordinate all implementation activities
• Monitor regular MIS & drive initiatives for further improvements
• Evaluate competencies, setting & exceeding market benchmarks
• Lead & manage the agency teams to constantly improve quality of output.
• Participate, Influence & Support future roadmaps:
• Play an active support role in transferring best practices across franchises in the portfolio

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

• Actual hands on exposure to media planning
• Exposure to digital from a strategic planning perspective
• Understanding of media markets, both technical & operational
• Ability to work with diverse & multiple teams
• Analytical skills
• Personal desire & capability to improve existing best practices
