Senior Accountant

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Accountant with 3-4 years of experience to manage accounting and compliance for an Australian client. The ideal candidate will have prior experience handling Australian accounting standards and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance for an Australian client.
• Prepare and manage BAS, GST, payroll, and other statutory filings.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
• Work with Australian tax laws and compliance frameworks.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely reporting.
• Utilize Xero, QuickBooks, or other accounting software efficiently.
• Adapt to Australian working hours (early morning shift).

Skill-sets:

• 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably with Australian clients.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance (preferred).
• Experience using Xero and QuickBooks (preferred).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualification:

• A bachelor's degree in Commerce/BAF
• Courses enhancing knowledge around finance/accounting

Experience:

• A minimum of 3 to 4 years experience
• Preferably must have worked with clients in USA/Australia/UK
