Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Travel Consultant (Ticketing) to join our travel agency. In this full-time role, the Senior Travel Consultant will be responsible for providing expert ticketing and travel services to clients, offering personalized advice, and ensuring seamless booking experiences. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in ticketing and a deep understanding of airline reservations, fare structures, and booking systems.

Key Responsibilities:
● Provide expert guidance to clients in selecting flights and travel options based on their preferences, budgets, and schedules.
● Handle complex flight bookings, including domestic and international itineraries, multi city bookings, and group reservations.
● Issue airline tickets, manage changes, cancellations, and rebookings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with airline policies and travel regulations.
● Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo to process bookings and ticketing efficiently.
● Advise clients on fare structures, rules, and policies, ensuring they understand the terms and conditions of their bookings.
● Handle high-priority or complicated cases such as emergency travel arrangements, last minute bookings, and urgent changes.
● Resolve any ticketing-related issues or disputes and work with airlines or vendors to ensure client satisfaction.
● Maintain a deep understanding of airline offers, fare promotions, and industry trends to provide clients with the best options.
● Collaborate with other travel consultants and departments to ensure seamless client experiences and cross-selling opportunities.
● Provide training and guidance to junior travel consultants, sharing expertise and best practices in ticketing and customer service.

Requirements:
● 3+ years of experience in travel consultancy, with a strong focus on ticketing and reservations.
● Expertise in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
● In-depth knowledge of airline policies, fare structures, ticketing rules, and international travel regulations.
● Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex ticketing issues with a customer-first approach.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple bookings, and meet deadlines.
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing flight reservations and ticket issuance.
● Ability to train, mentor, and guide junior consultants in ticketing procedures and best practices.
