Corporate Lawyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer with at least 9 years of expertise in corporate law. The ideal candidate will provide legal counsel on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, compliance, contracts, and commercial transactions. The role requires a deep understanding of corporate law, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex legal issues.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.

2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, mergers, acquisitions, and other commercial agreements.

3. Manage corporate litigation and resolve legal disputes.

4. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

5. Advise on corporate structure, business formation, and reorganizations.

6. Represent the company in legal proceedings and during regulatory investigations.

7. Collaborate with senior management to mitigate legal risks and align legal strategy with business goals.

Qualifications:

1. Law degree (J.D. or equivalent) from an accredited institution.

2. 9+ years of experience as a corporate lawyer, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department.

3. Extensive knowledge of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and

regulatory compliance.

4. Strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.

5. Proven ability to handle complex legal issues and advise senior management effectively.

6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
