Role & responsibilities

1. Responsible for overseeing the Mangalam Vidya Niketan school's operations, budget management, and strategic planning. Ensuring that educational objectives are achieved.
2. Hire, train, and evaluate support staff.
3. Stay updated on education laws, regulations, and policies. To ensure that the school operates in compliance with these requirements and maintain accurate records and documentation.
4. Create a safe and inclusive environment for students, staff, and parents. Address conflicts, implement discipline policies, and promote positive behavior management strategies.
5. Serve as a liaison between teachers, students and parents. To create/ communicate school policies, initiatives, and events through various channels, such as newsletters, meetings, and social media platforms.
6. Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including finances, facilities, and educational materials. To collaborate with stakeholders and ensure optimum resource management.
7. Build relationships with parents, community organizations, and local authorities. To collaborate with stakeholders to create partnerships and enhance community involvement in the school's activities.
8. Ensure proper facility & housekeeping management as per satisfaction of stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

• Should possess relevant experience in School Administration (including Civil Administration).
• Should have sound knowledge of Facility management, Security Management, Housekeeping management, Managerial Skill and People Skill.
• Age - 45 years or above
• Ex-Defence personnel shall have an added advantage.
