1 Amazon Manager Program Management Job

As the Manager, Program Management you will own the strategy and expansion of compatibility program (a high priority and complex program) across all Amazon marketplaces, driving product and business performance and efficiency. You will be expected to identify new opportunities / problems and develop solutions to solve and execution, transform opportunity to business-driven programs. You will own business metrics, work with our stakeholders in different marketplaces, central product team, tech & sciences team and operations teams to sustain expansion velocity and remove blockers.

A successful candidate will be an exceptional strategic thinker with business and data acumen. Key skills for the role include an extraordinary ability to deal with ambiguity, analytics, network effectively and influence partner teams without authority, and a passion for developing a deep understanding of the compatibility business and programs.


Key job responsibilities
1. Build deep knowledge of compatibility space, customer problem and business requirements.
2. Develop trust-based relationships with program team and key stakeholders acting as consultative partner providing thought leadership. Attend regular business reviews with stakeholder and partner teams
3. Help define the program strategies, develop program roadmap, and organize work steams and milestones; gain buy-in and interlock across functional and regional leaders. Deliver execution excellence.
4. Manage timely and successful delivery of the program, working with program s product owners and cross-functional teams to manage risks, and measure and report on progress.
5. Build strategic relationships with stakeholders to drive product, policy change or improvements that ensure the best customer experience
6. Anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, manage escalations, balance trade-offs, and resolve complex execution and operational issues.
7. Define and manage to program KPIs. Use Voice of the Customer, experimentation, data analysis, to set global quality standards and specifications.
8. Lead in research, writing operation planning documents and strategy documents. Write compelling business documents and drive outcomes for senior leadership at Amazon
9. Lead cross functional teams comprising of PM s, SME s, tech resources and Ops associates to deliver program successfully. Collaborate and influence program and product teams in key decision making.


A day in the life
RBS Compatibility being high complex and visible program, runs multiple projects in this space. The projects range from compatibility data enablement for CX launches, expansion to new market places, return reduction, defect elimination and colloboration with creators, influences, selling partners. These projects are very critical, requires colloboration with multiple partner teams and has a high visibility. The incumbent is responsible for leading specific project, manage cross functional team, influence decision making, innovate and deliver results.

About the team
Amazon Customer Experience (CX) team within the Retail Business Services (RBS) group identify catalog issues impacting CX at scale, and set up mechanisms to fix them. Our solutions ensure information in Amazons catalogs is both complete and comprehensive enough to give our customers a great shopping experience every time. - 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
